My incumbent opponent has admitted to errors over eight years. In the September 17 issue of the Elk Grove Citizen, she said, “We did make mistakes, but why I’m running now is so I can be a part of correcting some of those mistakes. We can improve.” She’s now asking you to re-elect her so she can correct (some?) mistakes made during her term? Is this a valid reason to re-elect anyone? Here are three of her legacies: 1) Business owners in Old Town unhappy with renovation project and her response to them 2) City economy based primarily on real estate 3) Lack of integrity issues in 2005. Our city deserves better. We need a Council member who’s educated and experienced in management and business—someone who understands economic and financial fundamentals, and who can foresee long-range effects of decisions. I’m have those credentials, and I’ll work to stabilize our economy, help our local businesses and reclaim no-nonsense integrity for our council. Redirect our city future. Vote Felts for District 5 on Nov 4th.
